About Gary Fitzgerald

Gary Fitzgerald graduated with a BA degree in Music; Theory and Composition from the State University of New York at New Paltz. After college, while performing in local clubs, he and his partner were selected for a 13 week promotional tour of thirteen western states. They performed original music and served as emcees for promotional game shows. After the tour the long arduous task of carving out a niche in the NY music scene began. Several awards later, he received an Emmy for his composition with CBS’s Guiding Light, a Genesis award for his work with Disney’s Audubon’s Animals, and a New York Festivals World Medal for International TV Programming for a series called Mysterious Places. After owning and operating a recording studio located in Manhattan for ten years he currently composes in his recording studio located in Raleigh, North Carolina.
